Ever since I was three when I first touched a baseball and even the bat, I have always loved the sport of baseball. Growing up playing this sport taught me a lot in life, whether it came with winning or losing. I have always had this dream to be able to play in front of tens of thousands of fans on a diamond, especially under the lights having the chance to play for the World Series Championship title. I believe I have what it takes to play collegiate baseball and compete for a spot in the MLB Draft. Being a part of a team has taught me to always strive for communication, leaning on people when you need it, and trusting others around you. My work ethic has been something I have taken pride in for years. No matter what has ever happened to me in life, I have never given up. One thing in life that has always helped me, is the fact that I hate losing more than I love winning. Whether it came to second place, or first place, it pushed me to compete even harder. Whether it comes to sports or academics, I put my all into it. My academics speak for themselves, as of last year I was 32/398 in my class, putting me in the top 10%. I take my exellence that I achieve in the classroom and execute it on the field. Academics to me are very important, the classroom is where true athletes succeed.
