Baseball is not only a passion of mine but a way of life. I absolutely love the game and imagine some aspect of it will always be in my future. I explored other sports when I was younger, but baseball quickly became my focus. Over the years I have been blessed with talented coaches/instructors who have taught me the fundamentals of the game, challenged me to improve and strive for success, and modeled the significance of strong character on and off the field. My father has also played a role in my development by instilling the importance of a strong work ethic, the necessity of skills maintenance during the off-season, and constant self-assessment. When I joined the high school team, I recognized that physical stature was important and started working with a strength and conditioning coach, which has yielded positive results.
I've remained loyal to Warwick Baseball by choosing to dedicate my time to Warwick Travel Baseball and Warwich High School Baseball. I've also found a way to give back to my community by volunteering with 12U travel baseball teams. The loss of my freshman season due to COVID was tough but it confirmed my desire to play and pushed me to work harder.
I envision my college years as a time of personal growth- balancing challenging academic coursework with the demands of playing competitive baseball. I would like to continue my baseball career with a program that is committed to developing players and helping them maximize their potential. I have the drive, determination, and dedication to contribute to a team's success. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to invest in my future.
