Peter Stoner '22 Recruiting Profile

As a player, my main  desire is to play baseball at a college level and succeed with high batting average and on base percentage. I am a great candidate for any team that desires me, because I bring terrific attitude and work ethic that is required for any sport or organization, always putting teammates and others before me, always lifting up teammates when they are down, and congratulating and supporting them when they are doing well. I am different than other players because I am a student athlete with great academics and also successfully juggle a job, 2 different high school sports, and get good grades, giving no less than 100% in each. I also overcame a difficult injury in my right throwing elbow, that has been affecting me since the age of 13. This past summer, I had surgery to remove bone fragments from my elbow and I'm looking forward to getting back on the field for my junior season. I overcame adversity and with a positive attitude throughout. I am more than ready to continue my athletic career at the collegiate level.
