2012 HighlightsHi, my name is Logan Lutz, a 6'1", 165 lb junior from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. This year, I alternate between a starting and relief left-handed pitcher on Baldwin High School's varsity baseball team, helping my team pursue a district championship; I also contribute at first base and in the outfield. As a 16 year old, I currently play on the 18U Steel City Select team. Also, I have played high school basketball for 3 years, becoming the junior varsity captain for the 2012-2013 season.
Ideally, I would like to stay on the east coast for my college education, and possibly collegiate baseball. However, I will consider going further west for the right opportunities. As a 4.2 GPA student, academics will remain my priority, by pursuing a degree in engineering. As I move forward, my decision of choosing a university will be persuaded by a quality engineering program. Hopefully, I can package my academic interests with my passion for baseball, as I look for a chance to contribute on a collegiate baseball team.
