Personal Statement

As a younger athlete, I didn't understand what it meant to be passionate about something.  As I grow, I am learning that baseball is something I have a true passion for.  Being competitive, being a part of a team and being able to motivate and support my teammates is what I like best.  I love playing Centerfield, but I am willing to put in hard work and learn at any position.  My idol is Michael Jordan.  I'm inspired by his drive, commitment and passion for his sport.   My family is very important to me, and they are always here to support me.  I can't wait to begin my High School and College baseball journey.  It's something I've been looking forward to since I started playing T-ball when I was 4.  I look forward to having opportunities to connect with schools where I can be an asset to the team.
