Jake Downing '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jake Downing.  I am a 2026 graduate, currently attending Wando High School.  I have been playing baseball ever since I can remember and I truly love the game.  As a multi sport athlete baseball has always been my passion.  I have been playing middle infield for the past three years and can play third base and outfield as well.  I have been playing on National and Regional level teams for the past three years, competing against the best talent in the country.  I have typically lead my travel teams in batting average and on base percentage.  I made my high school team as an eighth grader and will be competing for varsity or junior varsity starting middle infield this upcoming freshman season.

I will be working hard at developing my game to fulfill my goal of playing college baseball.  I believe I have the tools to compete against the best competition and contribute at the highest level for any team I play for.  Self motivated and always striving to be  the best player  and student off and on the field I can be.
