Zach Whitesell '20 Recruiting Profile

I have been traveling with my American Legion team and really know what it is like to be a good team member. We eat, sleep, practice and even play baseball together. I don't think many club players get that opportunity and I am thankful for having the opportunity.  I am a competitor.I don't give many free bases and "pound the zone" !! Batters know they better be ready when I am on the mound.  I love the competition and don't get down on myself or my teammates. I have have gone undefeated as a varsity starter for the last two years. 8-0  with an ERA of 2.3  in 2018 and 9-0 with an ERA of 1.434  in 2019.  I look forward to the next year and eventually moving onto the college level.
