I love and excel in baseball. And I'm a student who ranks in the top 99% percentile nationally. Thus, I hope to continue my baseball career while gaining an exceptional college degree.
I will train and prepare to be my absolute best every single day. I will do whatever it takes to make my team better. I will represent my team/school with excellence both on and off the field. And I will play baseball hard and the right way.
Due to a series of serious health challenges (Tourette's, scoliosis, septal hematoma, staph infection, brain cyst, etc) along the way, I have learned what facing hardship looks like. In this, I have gained perspective and grown in maturity. l have also learned what it looks like to work hard, accomplish goals, and overcome obstacles. I excel academically, socially, and athletically. But, I am always working to keep achieving. All the challenges that I've faced have made me a better person and a better baseball player. I have gained a discipline and work ethic that carries over into all aspects of my life, including baseball.
I have very good hands, quick feet, and I see the zone extremely well. I am a student of the game and have a high baseball IQ. I am growing in power at the plate, but I've always had a high OBP. I am fast. But, more importantly, I run the bases well. I’ve focused a lot on mechanics and fundamentals while knowing that my body will develop with age and hard work. Based on growth charts, I will probably end up being around 6'0.
Above all, I am blessed to play with awesome teammates and learn from great coaches that make me better. I am really fortunate to play for Coach Pharr and the CAK program. I also play travel ball with BC Athletics and train both with my team and individually with Brett Carroll. On both of these teams, I play against great competition from across the state and the southeast. These are not opportunities that I take for granted. And I am eager to keep learning within a great college program.
