My goal is to play college baseball. I would like to follow in the footsteps of my brother who played for the University of Tennessee and for the Houston Astros for three years. He was in the mid 80's velocity in high school and played D1 and the program helped him get bigger and throw harder My dream has always been to play college baseball, and I have worked very hard for many years with that in mind. I believe that, in college, I will be more suited to be a pitcher only.
I believe one of my greatest strengths is my willingness to listen and learn. I do not give up. I have a learning disability, but I have never used that as an excuse or allowed it to hold me back in the classroom or on the baseball field. I reach out to teachers when I need help. They appreciate my efforts and have helped me to be successful in the classroom. This same attitude carries over to baseball. I can recognize weaknesses in my game and reach out to my coaches for help, sometimes even before they come to me. My goal is to always improve. I am looking for a school that will recognize and appreciate my efforts, and work with me to help me become the best student, baseball player, and person I can be.
