Personal Statement
When I was four years old my dad introduced me to baseball and hockey. I have played both sports at the highest level in my area, but I’ve set my mind on baseball. My sophomore season I was going to be a varsity starter until I re-injured my knee and missed the entire season. That setback truly showed me the meaning of being a student athlete and gave me a chance to become even more focused and devoted to the game of baseball. I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership during my summers with Blueprint .
I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me both academically and athletically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character and work-ethic to make an immediate impact for a college program. As a two-sport athlete I know what it takes to be devoted to a program!
