I have been playing baseball since I was 4 years old, and have grown to appreciate the game more and more each year. I give thanks to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who continues to mold me and has allowed me to use my talents for His glory. My Mom and Dad have been super supportive and influential by the way they push me and teach me life lessons along the way. I became interested in the sport at a young age by watching games in person and on T.V., and by playing the game. Things I have learned about myself is that I need to challenge myself each day to be better than I was the day before, and that it takes work, effort, and attitude to accomplish that goal. I play football, basketball, and baseball, but baseball has always been the sport I enjoy more than any other. I am currently a Top Ten student in my class and plan to be upon graduation and will carry that learning experience with me into the college environment. I have faced many obstacles throughout my baseball career, including elbow surgery, the mental challenges of coming back from the surgery, as well as the mental challenges that come with playing the game. I consider myself a student of the game, understanding situational baseball and what to do in certain situations. I appreciate the opportunity to be a part of NCSA recruiting and hope this helps coaches to know just a little more about me. Thanks!
