Growing up, the most influential person to me was always my Grandfather and to this day he continues to play a part in my life choices. His love for Baseball ignited a fire in me to pursue the sport. Unfortunately, when I was in 3rd grade it was revealed to me that he had Melanoma. Hearing this news was devastating but did nothing but spark my love for the medical field and further enforce my dedication to Baseball. Through Baseball I've came to the realization that I can never be satisfied with myself and will always strive to become a better ball player. Being left handed is said to give you a step up in the game, but I never took this as an excuse to do nothing and expect something in return. In my remaining year of high school I plan to push through working hard to stay strong in my academics as well as my abilities on the field.
