Ian Wirtz '22 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to attend a reputable four-year university, obtain a business degree, and play college ball.  I am a good candidate for your team because I am a leader, a team player, positive, athletic and a good student.  I work hard to succeed but am different from other recruits in that I am over 6’5.  I just finished growing and am beginning to reach my potential.  I have been playing baseball since age 4, travel ball since the age of 10, and played other sports growing up just to try them out.  I am a military kid who has moved around, experienced different cultures, travelled, and had to prove myself over and over to be on a team.  While any scholarship offer would be welcomed, I do have access to the GI Bill, and would be a great fit for a walk-on.  I love the game and just want to keep playing it!  Thank you for your time and consideration.
