Julian Cantero '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a servant Leader, driven by Christian principles. I am a power hitter outfielder that grew up playing catcher and third base. I am fast on my feet with a high baseball I.Q.

I have been playing organized baseball since age 10. I have always been considered a valuable asset to the Teams that I played for. I have been a Team Captain for most of the Team I’ve played for and I’ve been selected to play in three all-star Teams with the North Texas and the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Baseball Associations. I currently play Select Baseball with the Dallas RedHawks 18U Team. At Hebron H.S., I am also a Leader in the JROTC unit.

I want to attend a College where I can grow personally while advancing my education. I am pursuing a four year degree and my desired major is in Communications, Media and/or Graphic Design.

In Little League I played mostly catcher and occasionally 3rd base and outfield. As I evolved into High School, my Coaches have played me more in the outfield due to my speed and strong arm.

I am excited about the opportunity to start engaging with College Coaches to see how I can join and be a benefit to their Team. I am committed to being a flexible player and a positive influence on the team.
