I have always been told that you should pursue what you are passionate about, what you are good at. I am a math and science guy and I am a baseball player. As I look forward to my college experience, I am excited about finding a great school where I can be challenged academically while pursuing these passions of mine at the highest level possible. I want to attend a university that will prepare me to be the best that I can be.
I am planning to study Computer Engineering for my undergraduate degree. After that my plan is to earn a Masters Degree in Business. Grades are important to me and I have worked hard to keep my straight “A” average while taking Honors and Advanced Placement classes, playing on the Varsity baseball team and volunteering over twenty hours each year through the Young Men’s Service League. I enjoy academic competition almost as much as I love competition on the baseball field.
I play baseball at Coppell High School in Texas, a 6A high school with a big baseball program. I was proud to make the Varsity team as a sophomore as it is not common for this to happen in the state of Texas. I am a starting pitcher for my Dallas Mustangs Club team and am looking forward to developing my pitching skills further.
I would like for college coaches to know that I work hard, have very high expectations for myself and that I am a leader. I like to lead by example, by working hard, doing what’s right, and helping others.
