Joshua Maki '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'5" pitcher and centerfielder with a 90-mph fastball. My desire is to earn a college degree in Finance while playing the sport that I love. Ever since my first "at bat" on the local T-Ball team, to my teamwork with the select teams GRIT, Furia and the Marshalls, my goal has been to have fun, be a collaborative player, and learn from the games that my team has lost. My teammates would describe me as easygoing, but serious about my contribution and dedication to my schoolwork and the game of baseball.

I am proud of my ability to overcome obstacles and accomplish my goals. As a student I am motivated, hardworking, and dependable. I have been able to maintain an A-/B+ average while playing sports in school and simultaneously playing in an athletic club.
