Colt Simmank '24 Recruiting Profile

I want to graduate with a degree in business and become an entrepreneur. I have played baseball since the age of four and have played select baseball since the age of six. I made my high school varsity baseball team as a sophomore and became the starting shortstop. Our team qualified for the playoffs and made it into the second round. I believe I have tremendous leadership skills and work ethic. Even though I have primarily played shortstop, I also played at 3rd base on my high school team. I believe I can play any position on the field at a very high level. I also have a very high baseball IQ. Academics are equally as important to me as baseball, and I am currently ranked number 11 in my class out of 522 students. I am a strong Christian and my faith is ultimately the most important thing in my life. While maintaining a positive attitude, you will never hear a negative or disrespectful comment from me.
