Jett Wright '25 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was a kid, I have been surrounded by the highest level of baseball. My dad played in the Major Leagues for 19 years, and I grew up in clubhouses, observing, thinking, and growing a burning desire to compete at this level. From the day I could realize it, I knew that collegiate or professional baseball was in my DNA.

I possess an unmatched charisma that helps me lead my team with confidence and energy. I also have a high baseball IQ fueled by years of watching and playing the sport. I am a coachable player who strives to excel in everything I control. My mental toughness is strong on and off the field, and I'm willing to face any challenge that so comes my way.

I work year-round on my baseball skills. I have played multiple sports, including Track and field, Football, and Basketball. I switched to only playing highly competitive baseball in the summer, which I have been doing for several years. These all contribute to my great athleticism and well-roundedness.

In the classroom, I study a lot to keep my GPA sound in a school that is one of the most highly competitive public schools in Texas in terms of academics. I also contribute to local youth mentorship groups and volunteer work through Voice of Hope Church in Dallas.

I want to attend a college where I can challenge myself academically and excel on the baseball field. I am open to any options and aim to find the perfect college fit that can develop me into the ballplayer I know I can be. I aspire to be a community leader and make my parents proud through my achievements.
