My name is JJ Pacheco. I am going to graduate in May 2023. My dream has always been to play college baseball, and my dad has taught me, nothing comes without working hard for it. I have learned many lessons from playing baseball throughout my life. An important lesson is team work, you can’t win games without a team. You need nine players to hit, field, pitch, and catch. I know my teammates can trust me to not only work hard, but to hold them accountable. I believe you have to give 110% everyday. I dedicate my time to my studies also, because I know academics comes first. My mom and dad have always instilled my love for learning. My mom is a first generation Mexican American, who was the first in her large family to get a college degree. I have always been a straight A student, who also takes dual credit courses. Being able to play college ball can lead to a great opportunity for a college degree and I plan to use it effectively.
