I plan to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Finance, Architecture, Agriculture, or Accounting. After I earn my Bachelor's Degree, I plan to go to graduate school. I am a good candidate for any athletic program because I am dedicated to both sports and academics. I am extremely hard working and I have a long established history of accomplishing all of my goals. I am very interested in playing college baseball.
Academics:
I am a junior at Franklin High School. In high school, I am majoring in the curriculum known as Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). I will graduate from Franklin High School in May 2023. My class rank is 356 out of 722 students with a GPA of 3.5378 (based on a 4.0 scale).
So far I have taken two (2) AP classes in high school. AP World History, and AP English Language and Composition.

During my baseball career which has spanned from kindergarten through my junior year in high school, I have played every position on the baseball field. I have always been one of the best fielders and hitters on my teams. Franklin High School is a 6A high school that has over 3,000 students. I have played every position on the baseball field. Prior to starting high school the positions that I played the most were third base, second base, and outfield.
During my junior year at Franklin High School, I am on the junior varsity team. My jersey numbers have varied though out the season. I have been wearing the numbers 9, 10, and 11. I am the starting catcher and I typically play the entire game. As a junior my batting average is currently a .375, and my current on base average is a .444. During my junior year I did play on the varsity team during a four (4) game varsity tournament. I played in two (2) of the four (4) varsity games during the varsity tournament, and we won the tournament. As a result of playing in a four game varsity tournament, I did not attend a three game junior varsity tournament that conflicted with the varsity tournament.
In my sophomore year I was on the junior varsity baseball team and my position was catcher. During my sophomore year I was considered a starter on the baseball team. My sophomore year jersey number was 10. In my sophomore year I split playing time at catcher with a teammate. When I was not catching, I was the designated hitter and when I was catching the other catcher was the designated hitter. We were the two best hitters on the team during our sophomore year. Coach Mathew Castor was my junior varsity coach during my sophomore year, and he told me that during my sophomore year on the junior varsity baseball team my batting average was a .400 and my on base average was a .500.
During my freshman year at Franklin High School, I became a catcher. I was playing on the freshman baseball team and my jersey number was 10. I was designated as one of two catchers. I would play half of the game as catcher, and half of the game in either left field or center field. I was considered a starter on the freshman baseball team. During my spring 2020 freshman baseball season, we were able to complete the preseason games on our schedule along with the first couple of regular season non-conference games before the Covid 19 Virus pandemic caused the spring 2020 high school baseball season to be cancelled.
Additionally I played baseball on Coach Orlando Chavez’s city league team during the summer before my freshman year at Franklin High School, during my sophomore year, during the summer after my sophomore year, and during the fall of my junior year. Prior to my freshman year the team was known as the Trojans and my jersey number was 10. In my sophomore year and junior year the team was called the Cougars, and my jersey number was 12. Other Extracurricular Activities:
I played the violin in orchestra from the second grade through fourth Grade. From the fifth grade through my sophomore year in High school I played the saxophone. I played the saxophone in both my freshman year and sophomore year of high school. I was also a member of Franklin High School’s marching band.
In my junior year, I became a member of the National Honor Society. I was a member of the National Honor Society in my Junior and Senior years.
