Personal Statement
My passion for baseball goes back to my parents registering me in a YMCA baseball program when I was almost three. Ever since then I've had a love for the game. My biggest accomplishment of my high school career, so far, would have to be winning Newcomer of the Year as a freshman. I like to think of myself an asset in baseball because I am a great utility player and a consistent hitter. I am told that I have a knack for knowing what's going to happen before it actually happens. To me, I just say that I'm good at reading plays and knowing baseball (and football) well enough to know the next move.
I know I want to play college ball and, ideally play as a multi-sport athlete, but I am not sure, as a senior in high school, what I want to do with my life just yet, other than play in the MLB or kick in the NFL!! The law interests me so I may pursue that area, academically. Or I could possibly coach.
My goals and aspirations are simply to do all I can to be the best I can be...in everything I do.
I am an honest, hard working student who holds integrity as sacred. I put all I have into my athletics and academics and am very teachable and coachable. I would be a valuable team member for any college because I am reliable, academically and athletically.
