David Zapata Viveros '24 Recruiting Profile

Baseball has brought me some of the most remarkable experiences and has taught me some of the most important lessons in my life while helping me build the foundation of the player, student, and person I am today.

I started playing baseball at age  9 in my hometown Medellin/Colombia. I moved to the States 4 years ago and was blessed to have the opportunity to play at the high school level for the past 3 years.

 I don't have many achievements due to being relatively new to the country, but I have played in varsity most of my high school career. I'm a very easygoing person I get along with teammates and coaches alike, I also have an optimistic attitude while being able to follow and execute directions. 

I'm open to any school with a business major, my goal is to get to the next level. I am looking forward to finding a school that provides me with an excellent level of education and gives me a chance to play baseball at the collegiate level.
