Adam Alexis '21 Recruiting Profile

From a very young age I had a passion for pitching and I knew I wanted to play collegiate baseball. I understand that playing baseball at the college level is a once in a lifetime opportunity; therefore, to bring my dream to fruition, I work hard on the field, in the weight room, as well as in the classroom. 

I was fortunate enough to be in the starting pitching rotation on the varsity team as a sophomore, recording 49 strikeouts and a 2.931 ERA in 43 innings. I was honored to be named to the 13-6A 2nd Team All-District team and selected by my coaches as the Leander High School Newcomer of the Year. In the Covid shortened 2020 season, I started in 3 games, recording 17 strikeouts and a 0.00 ERA in 17.2 innings. I was named the Leander High School Most Outstanding Pitcher, and at the same time, I made the 13-6A Academic All District Team. I look forward to competing in the upcoming High School season. 

I want to attend college where I can continue pushing myself in the classroom and on the mound. I will do whatever it takes to grow both physically and mentally throughout my college baseball career and be an asset to the pitching rotation, as well as a leader to my teammates.
