DIEGO DIAZ '23 Recruiting Profile

Since the age of 3, I have fallen in love with baseball. I took the sport where failure happens more than success as a challenge, and I have grown to be very competitive at it. I am constantly working on the physical and mental side of the sport, so that I can do whatever it takes to win ballgames. I have been taught by my parents and coaches that my work ethic will translate to other things. That is exactly why in the classroom, I am always striving to do my best. What I do in the classroom translates to baseball, where I am giving it everything all the time. My parents have always been very supportive of me and motivate me every day. Over the years, I have learned from different people how to be a good leader and teammate. Off the field, I am respectful and friendly to everyone.

My love for baseball and my parents are the reason why I want to play baseball at the next level.  I believe that my dedication, my competitiveness, my work ethic, and my motivation are what a team needs to be able to win games and championships. My quick learning and understanding makes me very coachable. I love baseball and want to win every game I am in.
