Luke Barrera '19 Recruiting Profile

My father shaped my love for baseball and athletic career from a very early age.  I am a huge Houston Astros fan and enjoy going to many games every season, which keeps me involved even when I'm not playing.  I have been playing competitive baseball since I was 6 years old and I'm currently playing in High School.  I am competitive and committed on the field, but am able to keep my composure as a team player and still have fun with the game.   My discipline helps me take my academics seriously and I strive to stay at the top of my class.  I am looking for a good school where I can further my education with an engineering degree as well as play baseball.
