My baseball career began at the age of three, until the age of 13 I played with older aged teams.I was recruited to play travel ball at the age of eight with 10 year olds and have played travel ball since. I played a starting position as a freshmen on the varsity squad at John Jay High School. I currently play all infield positions except second base. I'm a starting pitcher or SS for John Jay and starting pitcher or third base for South Texas Black Sox. Both teams utilize me as a catcher. I excel at catching, however my coaches utilize me for pitching. I am a strong left handed batter. I became Captain of the HS team as a Sophomore due to my team playing efforts and leadership skills; I currently hold that title. As a Sophomore I made the First Team All District of 5-A school; my junior year I received unanimously First Team All District and MVP against Stevens HS with 14 K's. I have had the pleasure of being coached by previous MLB players, Cassidy Dresch played 2nd base for the Texas Rangers; Neill Adkinson played for the Kansas City Royals and Nick Crouch, in 2005, was drafted by the Chicago Cubs and played two years of professional baseball. Coach Crouch is currently my travel league coach. Johnny Campos is my high school coach. My GPA is 3.5. I would like to receive a scholarship first for my academics and secondly for my God given talents as a baseball player. My parents taught me the importance of religion and thanking God everyday for what I have been blessed with.
