Through my 12 years of playing baseball, I have learned to love both the challenge of competition and the dedication in striving to be the best player, teammate, and person I can be on and off the field.  Anything that I decide to learn to do, I strive to do it to the best of my ability.  I want to not just be good at it, but great.  This relentless drive and passion to being the best is what I believe to be my biggest strength.

There are core principles of life that I have learned from my parents that have helped me to overcome challenges on the field.  'Nothing is given, everything is earned' and 'Leaders lead from the front and they lead by example' are two that I always lean heavily on when I might be struggling.  They help to remind me that everything worth doing is hard and that integrity, bearing, and tact cannot happen by cutting corners.  I feel that this is why many times I wish practice would never end.

This is what I feel I bring to the table and why I would be a great addition to any program that I am a part of.
