Every time I watch a college baseball game I picture myself out there playing. This wonderful, competitive game inspires me to do everything in my power to be able to play at that level. I'm 6' 2" tall and 185 lbs. I pitch and play 2nd base and shortstop. I have had the opportunity to play with many different teams, at many different positions, for many different coaches. I think my coaches have appreciated the hardwork, dedication and love that I have put into my baseball career. Human nature causes us to be resistant to criticism, but I have always welcomed constructive criticism. I strive to use it everyway possible to improve my techniques in the game. It takes a player to play the game, but it takes a leader to pull the players together as a team. A leader must remember he is part of the team. I consider myself to have the characteristics to be a good leader and teammate. I am also very strong in my Christian beliefs. I love baseball, but first comes God and family. I want to one day have a family of my own to provide for. In order to do that I know I will need an education. I have chosen Civil Engineering as my college major because I have always enjoyed designing and constructing things. I have two more years in high school and I am looking forward to starting to take dual credit classes. I am excited about what God has in store for me.
