Parker Towns '15 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to pitch at the Div-I level.  I am a good student and a hard working athlete.  I focus on two things, school and baseball.  I recently committed and signed with Howard College in Big Spring, TX.

I was recently graded 9 out of 10 by Perfect Game.  In January I will travel to Arizona to play in the Under Armour Pre-Season All-American Tournament.

My pitching style is to control the game with good location and get ground balls and fly balls.  Hitters rarely get a good bat on me.  I like to set up my slider as an out pitch and mix up speed with the occasional curve ball.  Otherwise, I locate fast balls in and out in the bottom of the zone.  I struck out 100 batters in 70 innings during the high school season with only 13 walks while going 11-2 as a Junior.

As a coach, you will not have to concern yourself with my discipline.  I will perform in the class room and on the field.
