Personal Statement
Hello my name is Noah Breuer I’m 15 years old, and I have been playing baseball for more than 11 of those years. I am a catcher and third baseman and I am fully committed to play at the next level.
For as long as I can remember my life has revolved around two things, God and baseball. Growing up I remember laying in front of our television watching and talking about the Texas Rangers for hours. My favorite player was and forever will be Adrian Beltré. I fell in love with the way he played baseball, as a game and not a job. You would never find him throwing a temper tantrum in the dugout after a strike out. Instead, he moved on, put his glove on, and got back out on the field. I do my best to model my game after his in the way I play and lead. I am always the first to congratulate teammates after a good inning. And I do my best to keep the moral up in the dugout when things aren’t going our way.
As a catcher, I have learned to value grit and determination, and use those skills in all facets of my life. I also take pride in everything I do including academics. I go to a large 6A school in central Texas and grades are very competitive. I am proud of my grades and I am constantly working to get them even better.
I would love to go to college to play baseball and get an education. I believe the tight knit group of a team that college baseball creates and it’s comradery is something that you carry forever. This is an experience that I am committed to work for and achieve. Finally, college baseball is a stepping stone to my ultimate goal of playing professional baseball.
