First entering the diamond at the age of 6, I have developed a strong passion for competing in this game I love. I have aspired and worked everyday in hopes to achieve my goal of playing collegiate baseball at a school with both high academic and athletic standards. While attending one of the most prestigious academic schools in the state, I have learned how to balance school and sports while excelling at both. Moreover, attending a small school has also enabled me to step into a leadership role on my team. In addition, maintaining a 3.99 GPA while also participating in two varsity sports has taught me how to work hard. I also believe that I hold great potential to further my baseball skills by focusing solely on my baseball career because playing two varsity sports in high school has restricted my ability to train year round in baseball. So, I truely believe that my top velocity of 85 MPH (clocked at the BYU fall league) and constant velocity around 82 MPH has the ability to increase dramatically over the next few years. Therefore, the combination of the potential to train year round with my work ethic gives me much room to grow and further develop my game.
