I am David Jones and I am currently a sophomore at Buckingham County High School in Buckingham, VA. I aspire to play baseball at the next level. I consider myself to be a great teammate and leader. If I’m not on the field I’m the loudest in the dugout. I play with heart and determination. It's hard to beat a person who never gives up and I do not give up. I always strive to be the hardest working person on the field. The only competition I have is me doing better than I did the game before. I take pride in my schoolwork as well. I am currently maintaining a 3.8 GPA.
The accomplishment that I am most proud of thus far is being selected to the 16U Rawlings Tigers National Team that competed in Fort Meyers, FL at the 2024 PG MLK East National Championship. I was one of 13 selected to the roster out of 1,087 athletes in the 2026 class of the organization.
I thank God for the talent He has given me. My talent is God's gift to me. What I do with my talent is my gift back to Him.
