Max Mowery '24 Recruiting Profile

Max Mowery is currently a sophomore at Riverside High School in Lansdowne, VA.   He bats left handed, hits with power, throws right, and plays 3B, 1B, corner outfield, and is a right handed pitcher.  He just recently finished the winter basketball season and, prior to that, high school football (where he played tight end and defensive end).  Max has been evaluated recently with both Perfect Game (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lt_qxEqm7oY) and with the Baseball Factory (http://members.baseballfactory.com/player/max/mowery/4e399a9db9d64a339d65acb9b3e3c6dd). 

Max is 6' 2" and weighs approximately 200 pounds.  He has played sports his entire life (baseball, football, basketball).  He has played on multiple all-star teams, participated at Cooperstown (where he hit 10 HRs in one week in Aug 2019), and has played in multiple travel and all-star tournaments every fall and spring season since age 7.

Max is a big kid for his age but young for his graduating class (Sept birthday).  He is a dominant right handed pitcher that now throws over 80 MPH.  He loves playing the game of baseball!  Max works out weekly with a hitting coach, bi-weekly with a pitching coach, and works out multiple days per week running and lifting weights to continue to grow stronger.

Max's greatest attribute is his personality!  All of his teammates love playing with him!  He is always friendly and talks to everyone - opponents, parents, umpires, etc.  He always competes but never gets upset on the baseball field, displaying great sportsmanship!

Max is starting to consider colleges and would love to play college baseball!  He would be a great candidate for any college across the country.  Max simply knows how to play the game the correct way!
