Since I was old enough to hold a glove, ball, and bat, I have been obsessed with the game of baseball. The history, comradery, and sentiment this game creates is unmatched in other sports. Having played other sports such as football and basketball which I have enjoyed but baseball is my passion.
While playing baseball, I would like to pursue a degree in Exercise Science/ Kinesiology and I am also interested in Biology. I am currently enrolled in the Health Science program at Hanover High School where I hold a 3.6 GPA. I am taking several advanced classes in Sports Med, Anatomy, Medical Terminology, Biology, and Chemistry. These classes will serve as a head start in my ultimate goal as a career in the healthcare field.
As a disciplined, driven athlete I will bring a leadership quality to your program and be able to aid in its success on and off the field. I have the utmost respect for my past, present, and future coaches, teammates, opponents, and officials and myself as well. I take pride in the ability to fit in and adapt and show little to no emotion between the lines. I consider myself consistent contact hitter with an efficient plate appearance and find myself on base more often than most. In the field I have been told that I move very fluidly with soft hands which aid in mid infield, but do not limit me to those positions. I have played every position on the ballfield and feel comfortable in doing so. Although very vocal on the field and in the dugout, away from the field I find myself more reserved spending most of my free time in the gym.
I am interested in attending a college as well as a baseball program that I can grow and that shares my values and rewards hard work while enjoying the experience that creates responsible successful adults.
