I am a junior at Flint Hill School in Oakton, Virginia and looking forward to college in 2022 for a balance of academics and athletics.
This school year, we started hybrid learning half in school and half online. and then moved to full time classroom in April. I have been inducted in Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, Juan Carlos I Chapter for my language proficiency and overall academic standing.
Through my community service work, I received the 2021 Spirit of King Award from a local church for organizing a toy and coat collection to help children across Fairfax County during the winter holidays.
Our high school baseball team started the season in April, and I am the starting shortstop and a pitcher.
Fall 2020, I played weekend regional tournaments for Canes North 2022, and weekday local NVTBL games.
Summer 2020, I played shortstop and pitched for the Canes Mid-Atlantic 2022, and guest played for Canes North 2021. I was also selected for the Dynamic Baseball All Star Game in Richmond.
Spring 2020, I was a varsity starter at shortstop for the pandemic shortened season. Baseball Factory also selected me for the All Southeast Team for the class of 2022.
Winter 2019, I had 4+ baseball workouts a week, assistant coached a 5th grade basketball team, was a CYO basketball referee, and worked on getting my drivers license. I also went to baseball camps and clinics, to get ready for the high school season.
Fall 2019, I spent 20+ hours a week in sports with a tough course load in school. I had 3+ travel baseball games per week plus practice, and I played varsity goalkeeper in school soccer.
From 2016 to 2019, I played for the Virginia Renegades as a middle infielder and pitcher. The Renegades are coached by Dan Mahoney and Alex Gregory, who are former professional baseball players.
My family loves to travel, and I have been to 49 states and 6 countries so far, which has been a great way to see our country and the world we live in. My favorite trip was a week in the Dominican Republic playing baseball, which was amazing.
