My parents have influenced me throughout the years. I became fascinated with the game of baseball when I was 4 years old. I grew up playing tee-ball and watching my brothers play baseball. Playing baseball I have learned that I have that relentless mentality in me, the fight and drive to be the best. My academic goals for graduate school are to have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and to graduate somewhere in the top 20 percent of my class. Other goals for grad school are to push through it and make good grades and have fun doing it while playing college baseball. I have had to overcome many obstacles through my journey learning important lessons throughout. I had to go through the loss of my grandma during baseball season and it was really tough but I know that she wants me to keep striving and keep working hard to be the best that I can be. I possess the characteristics of a leader and I am able to get the job done however difficult the task may be. I will continue relentlessly to pursue all of the things that will make me a better person, student, and athlete.
