Hard work, focus and diligence are the attributes that I strongly possess, on and off the field. It is important to me to maintain a solid gpa and a good reputation with my teachers and administration. I envision attending a college where I can expand my knowledge in academics as well as in baseball.
I have played baseball since I was 3 years old. Although I also play football and basketball, baseball is my passion. I have been blessed enough to have lettered at the Varsity level in all three of those sports my freshman year. This means that the coaches believe in me and my drive, and I do not take that lightly. My granddad taught me that success and good fortune favors the prepared, so I work as equally hard off the field to perfect my skills. I always know that even if my game isn't going like I hoped, I can still hustle and display good sportsmanship. I show respect to my coaches, to my teammates and to my opponents as well.
I have learned so much through playing baseball. I hope to continue my baseball career in an environment when I can grow academically and as a baseball player. I want to use my strong leadership qualities to enhance a college baseball program , while at the same time developing a strong foundation for myself in the sport I love.
I feel confident that any coach that I have had, in any sport, would recommend me as a strong, capable student-athlete. I will work hard to better the team on the field and to give back to the community by helping others off the field.
