Logan Thompson '27 Recruiting Profile

I am an effective and efficient 6-foot left-handed pitcher, first baseman, and outfielder at Oakton High School in Vienna, Virginia. In addition to high school, I also play club/travel baseball for the Bradley Baseball Academia program. I have been playing baseball for as long as I can remember. I aim to play the game for as long as possible while obtaining a great education at a high academically achieving school. I love baseball for so many reasons. I have been able to play with friends, meet new coaches and teammates, all while getting to learn different life lessons. Baseball is a game of failure requiring resiliency and discipline to achieve any type of success. Pushing through ups and downs is so important because this game can bring anyone down no matter how high you have been. I pride myself in my composure on and off of the field. I have learned how to cope with adversity and stress through playing the game of baseball. I continue to get better, continue to be a great teammate, and always continue to stay coachable. Although this game can be difficult, the success comes eventually, and there is no other way I would have it than I do now.
