Scott Scourfield '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a leader on and off the field!  If the team is down  I am the person they look to for encouragement and support. I’m happy to play any position, because I love the game and I am an athlete. I am self driven because I want to succeed and anything worth doing is worth doing right.  I practice my heart out everyday, even if it is just the tee work or regular old ground balls, always serious. Failure is going to happen especially in the game of baseball, but my mentality is when failure is inevitable, to work harder and keep pushing to better myself.  I am always looking to improve my academic life, my sports career, and myself as a person. I will give you good grades in the classroom., and perform when called upon to do so. I have played this game since I was 4 years old and hope to play until I am 80.
