I have known I wanted to play baseball at the college level since my freshman year in high school. Making the varsity team as a freshman taught me patience and I learned to understand the game and my team in a whole new way. I worked closely with the senior catcher and the coach to understand the workings of a varsity team and how I could grow with it. I also became a utility player that year and helped my team where the need was. I believe in teamwork and the trust and bond that teammates have to be complete. I would like to continue to play baseball in college while getting an education to peruse a career as a physical therapist. One day I hope to be able to help athletes with injuries and injury prevention with my degree and experience as an athlete.
