My name is Jayden Ortiz -Ruiz, and I'm a passionate baseball player, a proud Army Brat and your best bet.

I'm a hard-working player that loves to work on my talent and learn from those who can make me a better player and person. My peers can all agree that my leadership characteristics helps all of us be better and work harder to achieve our goals. I believe teamwork is essential for success. 

As an Army Brat I easily adjust to change and have a positive approach to challenges. This has been my life since I was 6 years old. Learning that I had to start all over as my father gets relocated every 3 years to a new State. 

I have big dreams and I know my future will start in that college/university that not only gives me the opportunity to show my talents but as well, provides me the education and future life I know I deserve. I've been interested in Sports Medicine for quite some time. Knowing that proper care and exercise is key for a player to be successful and excel in their craft, is rewarding, and I would like to be part of their journey to success. This has been a passion of mine as my mother was an athlete and had to go through two ACL reconstruction at the age of 14 and 17. She always talked about how grateful she was with the Sports Medicine Staff that ensured her recovery was successful. I want to be that impactful! 

My hope is that I have the characteristics that you're looking for in a player, a student, and a well rounded person.
