Lane Oostra '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lane Oostra, and I am a student athlete, class of 2023, at Ferndale High School in Ferndale, WA. I have a 3.65 GPA. I volunteer at my church in the children's worship program and am also part of a 4-H Club, as part of the 4-H club we give back to the community through various events several times a year. Through the Whatcom County Youth fair, I have had the chance to volunteer as a teen leader for the younger generations. I love the game of baseball because of the lifelong memories and getting to make new friends. Also working hard together to make myself and each other better as baseball players, and as a team. I see myself as someone that can get along with anyone. I feel I can make a good connection to my teammates and make the team stronger and unified. I have always loved the game of baseball since I was young and I would like nothing better, than to continue playing the game I love. Also, to further my education by getting a degree in business, sports, and entertainment.
