Parker Knoll '21 Recruiting Profile

Baseball has been very important to me for most of my life. I joined my first travel team when I was nine years old. It was a great experience that got me hooked on competitive baseball. As I got older, I joined little league and that too was an awesome experience. I learned so much about being a good teammate and how to play the game. 

During my freshman year, I struggled hitting, which isn’t normal for me. I worked hard over the offseason and earned a starting spot on varsity as a sophomore. I was one of the top hitters on the team, which taught me to stick with it and never quit. As the only sophomore, I was nervous, but the upperclassmen made me feel like part of the team. I learned how important it is to work as a single team and not exclude anyone. 

My education is also very important to me. Throughout my time as a student-athlete, I’ve been able to maintain good grades. I’m looking for a college to play baseball competitively and to also get an excellent education. I think I will be a great fit for any program with a combination of high academic and athletic standards.
