Personal Statement
My college goals and aspirations focus foremost on my academics; studying in the area of business and/or engineering, to assure my preparation for my career path. Athletically, my goal is to serve as an outstanding individual and teammate on and off the baseball field. I will continue to strive to be a strong offensive and defensive player, and as a leader and role mode. I take pride in always carrying myself with integrity, and always giving my best attitude and effort, while representing myself, my team, and my school. Having an unrelenting work ethic, in the classroom, on the field, while training, and in the community sets me apart from others.
I am an active member of National Honor Society for my second year and participate in various volunteer opportunities through my church, baseball team, school organizations and community.
I am beginning my 3rd varsity season as a junior. I reached my goal of playing varsity baseball as a freshman by staying focused on my goal and training plan. When the opportunity became available I took full advantage. As a sophomore I played shortstop, third base, second base and was our number two pitcher. During this season I hit in the five spot in the lineup on a team that was third in the conference, regional champs and finished 17-11. I was voted most improved player as a sophomore as well. I am working to become a total player in order to take advantage of any opportunity that comes my way.
Overall, in college I look to make a positive impact in the classroom and on the baseball field; serving as a leader and a productive, impactful player.
