I've been playing baseball since I was 4 on local teams. At age 8, I joined the select team in Grafton, WI. I have been the starting pitcher ever since. At 11, I pitched all but one out to lead the team to state for Little League. At an early age, I learned that I thrive on the pressure of being a pitcher. I don't get frustrated easily and have a lot of confidence in my ability to throw strikes. My biggest asset is being consistent with the control of the ball when throwing. When I am not pitching, I play third base. In terms of hitting, I rarely strike out and have taken private lessons from Christian Yelich's brother, Collin, to improve my hitting.
My dream is to play college baseball and hopefully the MLB someday. I am very committed to do what it takes to reach that goal. As I end my eighth grade year, I plan to join a traveling league in high school to improve my skills as well as the high school team. I hope to get involved in showcase tournaments as well. I currently practice with two select teams all year to keep my skills up along with weight training.
