I’m Nolan LaVoy, and I’m passionate about baseball and committed to working hard both on and off the field. As a middle infielder (MIF) and right-handed pitcher (RHP), I take pride in being a versatile player who supports my team wherever I’m needed. As a young freshman, I earned a spot on my high school’s JV team as a Pitcher and UTL and earned a starting spot at SS, and I worked hard to contribute in every way possible. This year, I’m focused on earning a varsity position while continuing to develop my skills with Edge Baseball. I also step into roles like catching whenever my team needs me, always bringing a positive attitude and strong work ethic to the game.
Off the field, I’m equally driven by my passion for helping others. I’m currently studying American Sign Language (ASL) and working as an adaptive physical education cadet at my school’s learning lab. I’ve also partnered with my high school’s special education teachers to create a teaching and practicum plan for my junior and senior years. My goal is to pursue a career where I can make a difference—whether in special education, high school counseling, or another impactful role.
I’m excited to continue growing as a player, learning from experienced coaches, and developing both as an athlete and as a person. Baseball has taught me the value of hard work, resilience, and teamwork, and I’m eager to bring those qualities to every opportunity that comes my way.
