Layne Miller '24 Recruiting Profile

I'm Layne Miller, and my goal with baseball has always been to play at the college level. I've been pursuing that dream seriously for 7.5 years now and I have not looked back. I have started on the varsity since my freshman year and sophomore and junior season I earned all-conference. Recently inducted into the Wisconsin Baseball Association based on my stats.  I have played club baseball out of Madison, WI since the age of 10. I have always been coachable and hardworking. I also work hard in the classroom and community. I am from a small town and getting out and playing baseball for a renowned institute will not only be a huge accomplishment for me on a personal level, but also an accomplishment for my community as a whole. I want other guys in years to come after me to know that high school is not a dead end, and if you put in work, it will pay off.  I truly believe you earn your spot!!  I have many ideas about what I want to pursue in college and look forward to what the future holds.
