Evan Muchka '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Evan Muchka and I am a 2024 grad RHP. I maintain a 4.0 unweighted GPA as my high school does not implement weighted GPAs. I am currently enrolled in 3 AP classes and next year plan on taking 4. School is my number one priority over anything, and I aspire to attend a university that holds the same educational values and commitment I do. As a RHP I have a five-pitch repertoire, consisting of a four-seam fastball, two-seam fastball, curveball, change-up, and developing slider/slurve. I have very solid control of each pitch I throw, and can often place anything in any quadrant of the zone. I have a tall, slender build that gives my curveball 12-6 and slurve 10-4 movements respectively. Oftentimes, hitters have difficulty reading the ball out of my hand as I am able to hide the pitch grip until my high release point.
