The thought of my life-long goal of playing college baseball potentially being within reach is nearly overwhelming. For years, I have dedicated myself to learning the game, listening to coaches, and broadening and perfecting my skillset.
Whether my college career leads to a major in Engineering or Physical Sciences, I’ve known for a long time that I want baseball to be a part of my college experience. I’m excited to ponder what opportunities may come obtaining a great education while at the same time being a key component of a high-level athletic program.
The game of baseball, so similar to life, is full of challenges. And, I have always believed that though the “Ups” in life may be more comfortable, it’s the challenges that force a person to grow. For this reason, I have always attempted to surround myself with athletes superior to me. I want the challenge to grow and become the best baseball player I can be.
I am eager to face the new challenge of being part of a college program to further my educational and baseball career.
