Hi! My name's Payton Johnson and I'm a part of the class of 2025. I'm an Honor Roll recipient with a 4.0 GPA. I am an active member of my school, being a part of our Varsity Cheer Team, Associated Student Body (Sophomore Class Vice-President for the 2022-2023 school year), and Student Mental Health Board. I took a junior-level math class as a freshman, as well as Honors English and Honors Biology. As a sophomore, I am going to be taking Honors English 10 NAF, Honors Chemistry, AP European History, and Pre-Calculous. I'm also in my school's NAF Medical Academy, which helps set students who wish to pursue a career in the medical field on the right path. I was one of two freshmen on my school's Varsity Cheer Team and have a major role as the team's main tumbler, as well as being a side base. I was a gymnast for seven years, competing for three competition seasons, ending as a Level 6, training 7. Along the way, I won multiple first, second, and third places, as well as a Regional title. I am also a gymnastics coach at Vernon Lee Gymnastics, where I coach kids as young as four to as old as fourteen gymnastics. I teach both recreational classes, camps, and pre-team from time to time.
My goal is to attend a school that allows me to cheer as well as set me on the right path to becoming a Pediatric Hospitalist. I'll do whatever it takes to achieve my goals since they mean more to me than other things. I do everything I can to be better at my sport, and that includes taking tumbling classes and practicing at home. I'm outgoing, determined, driven, and always put my best foot forward, in both my academic and extracurricular activities.
